My Crazy Life

Wow, it's been awhile since I posted. Things have been a little hectic over the past week and a half. The tragedy of losing my aunt too soon, driving up and back to Jersey for the funeral, my niece's 5th birthday, adjusting to staying at my place and Chris' place alternating weeks, and work being insane as ever had definitely taken a toll. I'm still getting in on average 4-5 workouts a week, which is really good for me.

I really enjoy my 'Me' time and get a little ruffled when I don't get that time in. I tend to sleep better, am in a better mood and have more energy when I get my workout in. With the exception of this weekend's workouts, I'm always in a better mood after my workout. I was in such a funk this weekend, that even a dose of some healthy stress relief couldn't shake my off mood. I wasn't really in the mood to go to the baseball game Saturday night, which is saying a lot if you know me and know how much I love baseball. Luckily I was able to shake it off after the first inning though and had a good time. We all get in funks now and then..I'm just happy mine had passed. 

I know I say this a lot, but I truly do love this PiYo workout. I am noticing toning and tightening in places and muscle definition in areas I haven't had before. It's pretty exciting! :) I'm getting stronger and starting to get a feel for some of these moves. I can't believe I'm already in the second month of this program. The workouts are definitely increasing with difficulty, but I really like the variety. Bummed that my DVD that has Drench and Sculpt won't work, but I should have my replacement soon, am looking forward to doing those.
